These options have been long disabled in Xmixed mode because they prevent these small methods from being inlined and are subject to bit rot, and we don't need more macro assembler code to maintain and change if the constant pool cache format changes.

On PPC, the first 13 floating point arguments to C calls are passed in floating point registers. Also, all but the first 8 arguments are passed on the stack. So there can be floating point arguments that are passed on the stack and in a register. We duplicate the regs datastructure in c_calling_convention() to represent this.

Setting some public integer options to specific values causes crashes or undefined GC behavior. This patchset adds the necessary argument checking for these options.
