As is, methods of PHP can never be called, because we're first trying
to read the property with the name of the method.
We fix this by first checking for `DISPATCH_METHOD` and treat that as
method call, if the method would be callable. Only otherwise we try to
access the respective property.
It needs to be noted that this breaks code which accesses a property of
an object, which defines a method of the same name. However, instances
of such classes should never be wrapped in variants, because this can't
be distinguished by COM anyway.
Closes GH-16945.
First, we fix the long standing issue that property access throws a
`com_exception` ("0x80020003: member not found), because the `HRESULT`
was not properly set after accessing the property.
Next, we fix an issue introduced as of PHP 7.0.0, where the string
length for write access had been properly adapted, but the string
length for read access had been overlooked.
Then we fix an issue introduced as of PHP 8.0.0, where new `HashTable`s
no longer set `nNextFreeElement` to zero, but to `ZEND_LONG_MIN`. This
doesn't work well with the `DISPID` lookup, which is a `LONG`.
Finally we fix a potential double-free due to erroneously destroying
the return value of `zend_read_property()`.
Closes GH-16331.
This is mostly about minor glitches (signedness or length confusion),
but also fixes two occasions where `zend_string`s still have been
regarded as `char *`.
We also add a regression test case for failing property name lookup,
since that is the most relevant issue we're fixing here.
* Include from build dir first
This fixes out of tree builds by ensuring that configure artifacts are included
from the build dir.
Before, out of tree builds would preferably include files from the src dir, as
the include path was defined as follows (ignoring includes from ext/ and sapi/) :

* Fix extension include path for out of tree builds
* Include config.h with the brackets form
`#include "config.h"` searches in the directory containing the including-file
before any other include path. This can include the wrong config.h when building
out of tree and a config.h exists in the source tree.
Using `#include <config.h>` uses exclusively the include path, and gives
priority to the build dir.

The AC_CHECK_TYPE was refactored in more recent versions of Autoconf
and the call with two arguments is obsolete and not recommended anymore.
This patch also refactors some leftovers of using ulong and uint which
are not standard nor common usages of types in C.
The ulong can be used as zend_ulong and uint usage is actually
`unsigned int`.
The usage of HAVE_ULONG removed since it is not used in current code
base.
Legacy edgecase for some legacy HPUX systems removed:
- sys/stream.h header is not checked and the HAVE_SYS_STREAM_H is
not defined with current build system.
- flags are unsigned int
- max_allowed_packet changed to unsigned int
This patch adds missing newlines, trims multiple redundant final
newlines into a single one, and trims redundant leading newlines.
According to POSIX, a line is a sequence of zero or more non-' <newline>'
characters plus a terminating '<newline>' character. [1] Files should
normally have at least one final newline character.
C89 [2] and later standards [3] mention a final newline:
"A source file that is not empty shall end in a new-line character,
which shall not be immediately preceded by a backslash character."
Although it is not mandatory for all files to have a final newline
fixed, a more consistent and homogeneous approach brings less of commit
differences issues and a better development experience in certain text
editors and IDEs.

The $Id$ keywords were used in Subversion where they can be substituted
with filename, last revision number change, last changed date, and last
user who changed it.
In Git this functionality is different and can be done with Git attribute
ident. These need to be defined manually for each file in the
.gitattributes file and are afterwards replaced with 40-character
hexadecimal blob object name which is based only on the particular file
contents.
This patch simplifies handling of $Id$ keywords by removing them since
they are not used anymore.
Some places have to be yet touched as they use different/custom
macros namings for the same. Also some places in the code became
redundant now, this is the next task. To name some: ext/mysqlnd,
sapi/embed, ext/curl and some smaller places here and there.
